Graduated from the University of East Anglia in Norwich, United Kingdom, where he obtained his Bachelor Degree in Accounting and Finance. He continued his studies in accounting with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) where he was admitted as a member. He is also a member of the Institute of the Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (IPAC).

He then continued his studies in the shipping area and he became a member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS) in London.

He has practical experience in accounting and finance, mainly in the shipping and shipmanagement sectors.

Mrs Papaiacovou is currently responsible for the running of the Secretariat of The OSM Group.

She holds degrees from the Technical Institute of the University of Pretoria in various subjects such as Financial Accounting, Office Administration, Business Public Relations and Legal Practice.

Her career spans over 16 years with 14 of those in the shipmanagement industry.
